Since September 2020, the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco have signed formal peace agreements with Israel, paving the way for regional harmony, collaboration and growth and there is widespread anticipation that more Arab countries will soon follow suit. This creates many business opportunities for those countries involved.
In response to this strengthening alliance, Dubai-based CBD Corporate Services (CBD) and Tel Aviv-based LA Global Consulting (LAGC), both industry leading specialists in foreign direct investment, have created a bespoke platform to enable foreign investors to develop a long-term foothold in Israel or the GCC territories.
Through the joint platform, CBD and LAGC will offer a full range of business set-up advisory and corporate structuring services, including pre-market entry studies, business formation, corporate nominee partner services, visa services, corporate governance and compliance as well as a full range of business support services.
Helen Barrett, Partner at CBD Corporate Services, commented “We are delighted to have partnered with LAGC in our objectives to assist businesses from the GCC countries to enter a new and exciting market. Like ourselves, LAGC is a client focused, services driven professional consultancy which mirrors the competencies, expertise and range of skills that we at CBD take pride in delivering throughout the GCC.”
Founder and CEO of LAGC, Anita Leviant, commented, “Since our first meeting with CBD, we realised that we were dealing with a very professional organisation who matched our high and uncompromising standards of service delivery. Our service perception is to provide our clients with tailor-made solutions and to ensure cross-cultural issues are duly addressed. Together, we are in the right position to provide a full service professional platform enabling investors and businesses to efficiently negotiate regulatory requirements and pave their way to successful new ventures in both countries.”
With many multinational and domestic enterprises listed as the clients of CBD and LAGC, both companies look forward to working together on the new opportunities that the peace accords have created for business development.
We will shortly be hosting our virtual ‘Doing Business‘ seminars which will address the challenges and obstacles that an investor may face when entering a new territory and how best to overcome these.
